MEET THE TEAM!

Samuel Neagley works as an actor, writer, musician, director and producer. After graduating from Dickinson College with a degree in Theater Arts and Spanish, he moved to Los Angeles and immersed himself in the world of theater and film. Samuel performed and learned in spaces such as Howard Fine Acting Studio, LA Connection Comedy and UCB. Over the years he took the stage at venues including The Comedy Store and Los Angeles Theater Center. Samuel later moved to New York and founded Blue Otter Theatre with the vision of producing his own creative writing. Among Samuel’s proudest works are his acting and composition in the original musical “A Self Help Guide To Killing Your Boss” and co-writing and directing “The Cigar Lounge,” which sold out at the Brick Theater Unstageable Festival in Brooklyn, NY. He has worked at New York venues such as Actor’s Temple Theater, The Player’s Theater, and SoHo Playhouse.

Clayton Smith is a stand up comedian, playwright, and actor. Born and raised in Yuma, Arizona, he left the 118 degree summers to get a degree in Screenwriting at Loyola Marymount University. Clayton moved to New York City shortly after graduating to pursue a career in stand up comedy. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the New York Comedy Festival. From 2019-2020, he co-produced Live at the Inn, a monthly variety show in the West Village. Clayton made his theatre debut in July 2019, co-writing and acting in The Cigar Lounge, which debuted at the Brick Theatre’s Unstageable Festival. His second play with Samuel Neagley, All That Glitters Is Sold, had a sold out run at City Hall Park in Burlington, VT in August 2021.
